Abstract

X-ray and gamma-ray detectors, based on Dy doped CaSO4 crystals were produced. They are able to detect photons with energies within the range 30 keV – 3000 keV. The fading (loss of information) of a detector within a 30 days period is <5%. These detectors are constitutive parts of the thermoluminescent dosimeters..
