Abstract
Fluorene-based hydrazones and enamines have been synthesized and characterized by various techniques including thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, UV spectrometry, electron photoemission and time-of-flight techniques. The electron photoemission spectra of the layers of the synthesized materials revealed the ionization potentials of 5.45-6.1 eV. Room temperature hole-drift mobility of 9-(9,9-dihexylfluoren-2-yl)carbazole-3-yl-carbaldehyde N-methyl-Nphenylhydrazone and 2-di(2,2-diphenylvinyl)amino-9,9-dihexylfluorene molecularly dispersed in bisphenol Z polycarbonate exceed 10-6 cm2 V-1 s-1 at moderate electric fields..
