Abstract

The paper refers to the synthesis and characterisation of some new materials based on phosphorilated calix[n]arene that could act as extracting agent for rare earths ions. The synthesis is based on the reaction between dichlorophenylphosphinoxide and p-tertbutylcalix [n]arene (n=4, 6, 8). FT-IR, UV-Vis, 1H-NMR, 31P-NMR confirm the purity of the synthesised compounds..

Keywords
