Abstract

The crystallization kinetics of bulk amorphous (Se80Te20)100-xAgx (0≤x≤4) glasses has been carried out using Differential Scanning Calorimetry at different heating rates (5-20 K/min) under non-isothermal conditions. It is found that the glass transition temperature and the crystallization temperature decrease with increase in Ag content. The apparent activation energy for glass transition and the activation energy for crystallization have been determined using the Moynihan’s relation, modified Kissinger and Matusita equations..
