Abstract

The paper presents a comparison between the results obtained using different modeling equations for the electric arc (Habedank, KEMA, Schavemaker and Schwarz) and the experimental measurements, in order to determine the best of them for predicting the behavior of a low voltage vacuum circuit breaker..
