Abstract
Melt quenching technique was applied to study the glass formation in the MoO3-TiO2-Bi2O3 system. A narrow glass formation area was situated around the MoO3 corner. The thermal stability of the glasses was determined by DTA, the glass transition temperature (Tg) was about 350 ºC and the crystallization peak temperature (Tk) is about 400 ºC. By IR spectroscopy was shown that the main structural units in the glass network were MoO6 and MoO4 polyhedra..
