Abstract

The self-organization ability of a low molecular weight ferrocenyl-amide-siloxane copolymer was investigated in solution and film. 1 H NMR and dynamic light scattering (DLS) have been used to emphasize that the polymer is able to form aggregates in DMF solution. Such structures can also be find in film remained after solvent evaporation as was observed by AFM and SEM. X-ray investigation on the annealed films revealed certain crystallinity. Two types of transport phenomena delimited by the glass transition temperature, Tg, were identified by electrical measurements..
