Abstract

Structural investigations on the glasses from the system x(Fe2O3∙V2O5)∙(100-x)[P2O5∙Li2O] with 0< x < 50 mol%, were accomplished. Scanning electron microscopy and small angle neutron scattering methods were used for the present study. The structural 2D-results from SEM are in good agreement with the 3D-results from SANS. It is found that with the increase of the concentration x the microstructure features of the system are changing from particulate to fractal..
