Abstract

The low temperature properties of the polycrystalline perovskite systems Ln2/3A1/3MO3 with Ln = La, Pr; A = Ca, Sr and M = Mn, Co including electrical resistance, magnetization, ac susceptibility were studied. The compounds behave as “cluster glass” systems, showing both spin-glass-like and ferromagnetic behavior. The electrical conduction shows negative magnetoresitance..
