Abstract

The paper presents the influence of an surface agent (hexamethilentetramine) of the insertion with Mg(II) and Ni(II) of the zinc phosphate layer on steel plates. The morphology, composition and the structure of the deposed layers by chemical precipitation has been characterized by SEM-EDX, XRD and 3D optical profilometry. The experimental data evidentiates the purpose of the surface agent and the two cations on the uniformity and compactness of the phosphate layers..
